Today on Autism Live, Juan Ronderos Torres visits to talk about what steps to take once you determine that your child has some of the symptoms of Autism.  Juan’s new segment Autismo y Familia will debut on Autism Live’s You Tube page on Friday, September 5 at 3pm.  Shannon interviews Noddy Nweke about the upcoming Jazz Hands concert, taking place on September 13 at 2pm in Venice, CA.  The concert will feature performers on the Autism Spectrum, including singer Alex Hale.  To RSVP to the event email JazzHandsForAutism@gmail.com.   Amanda Smith talks about the Elephant in the Room Project, a new study that examines how and when to tell an individual that they are on the spectrum.  Amanda welcomes parents, practitioners and individuals with ASD to fill out the online survey which can be found at http://www.ucalgary.ca/asert/Discussion .  Shannon gives an update on the story alleging that a CDC whistleblower has come forward admitting there was a cover-up that kept information about  a link between the MMR vaccine and Autism in young African American male children.
