On this edition of Autism Live: Shannon Penrod welcomes Dr. Adel Najdowski to shares tips on how get children and teens to like new things.  How do make something reinforcing for someone?  Dr. Adel has great tips.  She also answers a viewer's question about how to help their child learn social skills when they themselves have a social anxiety disorder.  Both Shannon and Dr. Adel share their personal battles with anxiety and panic attacks as well as how they found help using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.  Dr. Jonathan Tarbox talks about the skills we can work on with teens to help them prepare for the social minefield of dating.  Dr. Tarbox answers a viewer's question about what they should ask a BCBA during their monthly meetings to maximize the success of the child and then gives a great explanation of generalization and why it is essential in all quality ABA programs.
