Today’s Jargon of the Day: ASD, which stands for Autism Spectrum Disorder. The words we use to describe Autism have changed. Under the new DSM V there are no longer classifications for PDD-NOS or Asperger’s Syndrome, now everything comes under the heading of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
